Is everything at MOTW halal? Yes, the whole menu

It's one of the questions we hear most, so here's the short answer: yes. Our whole menu at MOTW is halal.

What that covers

Every item, including the empanadas and the beef bacon in our bacon, egg and cheese empanada. You don't need to check the menu item by item or ask what's in something before you order. If it's on our board, it's halal.

Our halal empanadas

We bake five: bacon, egg and cheese (halal beef bacon, egg and cheese, our breakfast pick), chicken pot pie, picadillo beef (seasoned halal ground beef), spinach (meat-free) and samosa. Add sriracha aioli to any of them. See prices on the menu.

One order for the whole room

Because everything is halal, a group order works for everyone. That's why offices, student groups and community gatherings come to us for coffee, chai and pastry trays. Plan yours on our catering page.

Allergies

Halal isn't the same as allergen-free. If you have an allergy, tell us before you order and we'll help you choose.
